HIV infection axed as bar to entry for immigrants by President Obama

"President Obama has kept his promise to lift the HIV-positive ban on admission to the United States. The rules lifting the ban are set to take effect Jan 1. That's 60 days after the new regulation was published Monday in the Federal Register."
